The Federal government Department of Education, Skills and Employment is calling for submissions for its Australian Strategy for International Education 2021-2030, at a time when predictions are now that we won’t be seeing the return of international students until at least 2022.
While this is heading in a gloomy direction, Aged Care seems to be starting to turn a corner – with Anne Connolly from the ABC noting several reasons to remain positive about the impact of the aged care royal commission, including hopefully resulting in a bigger and better paid more skilled workforce.
Claire Field of Claire Field & Associations however does warn that “There are huge changes ahead for tertiary institutions delivering education and training for the aged care sector” and hopes that the Federal Government has allocated sufficient funding to help the sector support these.
