Australia's $21 billion a year education export business is booming, and the Commonwealth Government is aiming to double the number of onshore enrolments by 2025. There has never been a better time for your education enterprise to maximise its opportunities in providing exceptional vocational education qualifications to international students.
CRICOS Registration for Existing RTOs Package
If you are an existing Registered Training Organisation in Australia providing approved qualifications for domestic students, you may wish to apply to deliver courses to overseas students to extend the remit of your education enterprise and enable its scaleability for growth. RTO Advance aims to streamline the application process and audit experience for existing RTOs seeking CRICOS registration. We do this by providing guidance on what to expect and how the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, ESOS Act and National Code of Practice need to be addressed - particularly in a complex regulatory environment.
The fee for assistance with the application for CRICOS Registration for Existing RTOs is between $13,980 and $18,980 plus GST, depending on the number of courses that will be included with the application.
EXISTING RTO CRICOS REGISTRATION
This requires an application to the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) for inclusion on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
RTO Advance is experienced in the preparation of CRICOS applications which are undertaken in consultation with the RTO.
The RTO is required to provide a range of documents for the application, including declarations and corporate records.
RTO Advance will provide documents and lodge the application on behalf of the RTO, and will provide a 'who does what' checklist that sets out specific tasks to be completed either by our RTO advisors or your organisational team.
The RTO is responsible for paying all ASQA related fees.

In consultation and collaboration with our clients, CRICOS Registration services that RTO Advance provides include:
We specialise in assisting existing Registered Training Organisations to obtain registration on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) to deliver courses to international students. To become registered to deliver to international students, an RTO needs to have the qualifications and courses it wishes to deliver on its scope of registration. Registration with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) involves having your RTO meet the requirements of the VET Quality Framework (VQF). This is a set of standards and conditions that ASQA uses to assess whether an RTO meets the requirements for registration.
Our aim is to minimise the stress of CRICOS registration and the audit experience, and to provide guidance on what to expect. We also explain how the Standards for RTOs 2015 and the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and National Code of Practice and need to be implemented to ensure compliance.
With over three decades industry experience, it is RTO Advance’s long time operation and engagement in the highly complex VET Quality Framework regulatory environment that contributes to the reputation of our leading services being at the forefront of compliance and up-to-the-minute with regulatory changes.
